Is Zira in love with Scar?
After Scar died, Zira was determined to kill Simba in order to avenge his death. Her loyalty to Scar is even far greater than her love for her family, as she will not hesitate to kill her own children if they betray Scar's memory. Overall, Scar was the person Zira loved the most.
Zira was a female lion. She was the leader of the Outsiders. She was the mother of Kovu, Nuka, and Vitani. After Scar became the king of Pride Rock, he chose Zira's son, Kovu, to be his heir and protégé.
Scar's mate, Zira, is the main antagonist of the sequel, “The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride”. She has three children, Nuka (who must have been born to Zira and Scar during the time of drought in the original movie), Vitani, and Kovu.
Zira and the Outsiders were banished for hoarding more than loyalty to Scar. If they were loyal enough to Scar for Simba to banish him, they sure as hell didn't show up to save Scar's butt in any sense during the final battle.
Scar was born to the reigning monarch of Pride Rock. He had an elder brother named Mufasa. In his youth, Scar fell in love with Sarabi, but she chose to become mates with Mufasa instead.

Despite Zira's death, her (as well as Scar's) original plan to have Kovu as the new King of the Pride Lands is most likely to succeed, but not for her own satisfaction as Kovu wants to rule under the principles of the Circle of Life, which inspired a touched Simba to accept Kovu as his son-in-law and future successor.
However, the plot was ultimately thwarted by the Lion Guard, and Kiburi and his followers were banished to the Outlands for trying to murder Simba.

The animated Scar has a black mane and almost caramel-colored orange fur. Naturally, a real-life lion of this coloration would not exist. The black mane, however, would exist, just not on Scar. Darker manes are a sign of a healthy, active, and happier lion, definitely not Scar material.
The weird thing bout Scar in Lion King 2019 is that black-maned lions ARE REAL, and they easily could have based him off of one. Lions with darker manes are also more aggressive and lead prides more often than lighter-maned males. Thus why Scar, the villain, has a black mane.
Female lions, lionesses, are able to give birth to cubs all year round, usually from the age of about three or four years old. Pregnancy lasts for around 110 to 120 days. Eventually, when it is time to give birth, lionesses leave their family pride to find a private den in the shelter of bushes, or even a cave.

Scar is definitely younger than Mufasa, though not by much because they had to at least have a chance for closeness. I think a 2-year age gap makes sense. 38 when he kills Mufasa, and 48 when he dies. Timon is tricky, since he and Pumbaa never seem to age.
